ELON MUSK HEADS TO GERMANY FOR THE OPENING OF TESLA’S NEW ELECTRIC CAR FACTORY

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk have flown to Germany in his  private jet, according to sources. He is going to attend the opening ceremony new electric car factoryin Berlin.

The $5 billion Berlin gigafactory will produce hundreds of thousands of Model Y vehicles and millions of batteries, according to Tesla.

The company has four fully-operational facilities—three in the US, and one in China. The fifth facility is now open in Europe.

The Berlin plant was meant to be ready last year, but the opening was delayed after Tesla added a battery facility to its building plans.

When the plant was greenlit, 2,600 vacancies were filled and it is expected to be up to 12,000 in the future.
